Pecha Kucha Night Beaufort advisory board taking shape

Don't take our lack of blogging as inaction on the Pecha Kucha Night Beaufort front.

In fact, a small group has formed to serve in an advisory capacity for the Pecha Kucha Night Beaufort movement.

We're still confirming a few members of the group, but as we do we'll post their profiles here on the blog.

The first member we'd like to profile is Wendy Walls of the Technical College of the Lowcountry.

Wendy, a native West Virginian, relocated to the Lowcountry two years ago. After graduating from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Adult and Technical Education, she began her career in higher education by working with low-income, at-risk college students in southern West Virginia. She is now the job placement coordinator at Technical College of the Lowcountry as well as an active member in many civic and professional organizations, including Beaufort Exchange Club, Beaufort Rotary, Lowcountry Young Professionals, National Career Development Association, American Counseling Association and serves as a volunteer for the March of Dimes and American Heart Association.

More profiles to come...
